Eyes on Paper
(the one where players take turns drawing a character)
In this training exercise, players in pairs take turns drawing a portrait on paper, one stroke of the pen at a time. Start by making two dots for eyes and then back and forth add elements trying to work together to create a coherent character on the page.
- Encourage them to do this exercise silently.
- When the character seems complete, they can write the character's name one letter at a time.
- Tape the paper to a wall and let a larger group of people take turns adding the next stroke.
